Mercedes Coffee Table

Part of the Kripto Collection, this one-of-a-kind golden coffee table is a sculptural work of art. Inspired by the mid-century Mercedes prototype, its striking structure comprising adjustable feet is fashioned of 73 flat polygons of steel, laser-cut and welded by hand. The velvety finish is obtained through a complex process that upgrades the one featured in luxury car production: the varnishing involves three steps before the application of transparent finish and a final, hand-applied polishing in five steps.
